About Charlestown Golf Club
The Charlestown Golf Club is located between Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The first effort to establish the golf club was in July 1966, but it wasn’t until September 1971 that the way was cleared to develop an area and form the club. Since then, the club has grown its members and the facilities they are able to offer. The club features a championship par 72 course that offers something for every type of golfer. The course is situated on beautifully picturesque bushland providing golfers with amazing views and an unforgettable day in a tranquil environment.
The golf club is also a lovely location to hold functions and caters events such as weddings, birthday parties, engagement parties, corporate functions and much more. The clubhouse boasts panoramic views of the course by day and the city lights by night. The club also offers dining opportunities with their bistro, featuring weekly dining specials with something for all different sized crowds.
