The signature curvature design seen in the Madrid suite is Astra's twist on the typical aesthetics present in traditional street furniture items. The design adds a level of sophistication, yet simplicity, to any applied landscape area. The benches in the Madrid suite have been designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia – 100% Australian made.
The benches have been specifically made with a cast aluminium frame and silver powder coated finish, ensuring it will never rust. The outdoor benches range has been made to withstand the test of time. When the frame is partnered with aluminium slats, the entire bench is suitable for coastal locations. Custom slats, lengths and powder coated colours are available on request. A client favourite, the Enviroslat Walnut slat option is made from a mix of plastic and reclaimed cellulose fibre. Due to the combined properties of wood and plastic, this slat does not get excessively hot in the sun.
