Pots and planters – Gem

Designed by acclaimed industrial designer Forrest Gillham for Street and Garden, this collection of glassfibre-reinforced concrete (GRC) seats and planters was inspired by the facets of a cut gemstone. Each can be used as a stand-alone statement piece or part of a bigger-picture design layout with a number of pieces.

The planters are made in two parts and can be joined together in different configurations to alter the planter’s top profile. The seats can similarly be rotated.

Quatro Design products are proudly Australian-made and -certified. Designers and specifiers benefit from sourcing locally designed and manufactured products that comply with stringent quality standards, with shorter lead times compared to imported products. Buying local also means less embodied carbon. Quatro is committed to continually improving its carbon footprint; various energy-saving systems have been implemented at its factory, including a water-recycling system.

Key features and benefits include:

  • Durable and high-quality products
  • Suited to indoor and outdoor applications
  • Lightweight compared to cast concrete
  • Non-combustible
