Supply chain disruption has significantly impacted businesses over the last 18 months, particularly where international supply chains are concerned. Stormtech has been working on domesticating and continually securing its supply chain, with the result that it currently only has 1% international exposure, which it is aiming to have removed by the start of 2022 – this will insulate Stormtech from the fluctuations of the global market and enable it to continue delivering quality products with confidence.
Stormtech is constantly looking for ways to increase quality, efficiency and user experience through technology. One such development has been the launch of its online configurator – this digital tool is connected by a single data source to Stormtech's machinery and allows users to create custom drains by inputting their specific requirements, such as width, depth, height, and outlet location. Based on this input, the machinery will then build that drain to specification.
Sustainability is central to Stormtech's values, and it's constantly looking for ways to improve the sustainability profiles of products and operations. Stormtech is proud to have achieved Global GreenTag HealthRate Platinum for three products – Slimline Composite uPVC Channel and Stainless Grate, Slimline Stainless Steel Drainage System Series, and uPVC Slot Drain – making these "world-leading" profiles when it comes to the use of safe materials. Stormtech continues to commit to voluntary sustainability initiatives to achieve stronger certifications wherever possible. You can be confident that when you use a Stormtech product, you’re doing the right thing for the environment.
