About Macarthur Anglican School

Macarthur enrolled its first students back in 1984, with 90 students enrolling in years 7 and 8. These students, under the guidance of the school’s first headmaster, David Lloyd, were the first to complete their Higher School Certificate in 1988. Within its first year of operating, the school had five members of staff and one secretary. The school began its facilities on a five-acre site in Wilson Crescent Narellan, adjacent to St Thomas’ Anglican Church. The school experienced rapid growth beyond early expectations, which increased the need for school education in the surrounding district. It was quickly evident that more land would be needed, where they then transitioned to the 120-acre site where they currently reside in Cobbitty. Today, Macarthur Anglican School educates approximately 1,000 students aged 4 to 18 years of age.

The school has established an ongoing building program that ensures students are educated in facilities that are outstanding in their design and function. This means classrooms are modern, well-lit and airconditioned and only ongoing in advancements. The expansive grounds allow for the continuing development of sporting facilities to continue to be established. One of the most impressive outdoor facilities the school offers is the Olympic-size athletic field, together with long jump, discus and shot-put facilities. This allows for school and inter-school athletics carnivals to be held onsite. This fraction of modern facilities is only a sample of what the school currently offers and where its plans go to expand in the future. Ensuring there are adequate and sleek street furniture items is an integral part of maintaining this high status.

What the client said

“Really happy with the new bins and bin enclosures. They well suit the new areas and parents get that ‘wow’ reaction when they come around the corner!”
