Pirrett Construction has recently wrapped up an impressive project in Buddina, Queensland, showcasing a blend of beauty and functionality through innovative architecture.
Central to this project are the 50 mm × 50 mm QuickClick two-piece battens from DECO. These battens have been strategically arranged in a vertical fashion, not only concealing the garage door but also creating a seamless and captivating visual statement across the entire frontage.
The decision to go with DecoBatten for this project was influenced by its proximity to the coastal environment. The Super Durable DecoWood Curly Birch finish was primarily chosen for its exceptional UV resistance and marine-grade properties. To enhance its visual impact, a striking black satin contrast was added at the base.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this DecoBatten garage door successfully tackles a significant architectural challenge. It achieves the desired visual impact without the ongoing maintenance requirements associated with traditional timber battens. The use of pre-finished aluminum battens eliminates the need for painting, staining, or oiling – a great advantage for both busy households and those who prefer spending their weekends relaxing rather than maintaining exterior elements.
