At the request of the Sunshine Coast City Council and the local birdwatching community, Landmark Products has installed a bird hide at Park Lakes, Bli Bli.
The timber-clad structure, which was designed and located after consultation with the community, sits within the well-established wetlands. The hide gives a seasoned community of birdwatchers a place from which to observe native wetland birds and animals without disturbing them.
Landmark Products’s bird hide features bench seats and can be reached by a concrete pathway; both the hide and path are disability compliant, ensuring that all ages and all abilities can enjoy this outdoor activity.
More than 160 different bird species have been recorded at the Park Lakes wetland site. These species include egrets, spoonbills, corellas, ducks, kites and grebes.
Landmark Products seeks to enrich communities by providing safe, environmentally friendly public spaces and exceptional landscape designs.
