Landmark's bespoke shelter at the new Chinchilla Botanic Parkland project.

Landmark Products designed and supplied nine bespoke shelters, and an accessible restroom for the new greenspace of the recent Chinchilla Botanic Parkland project.

The $5.9 million Chinchilla Botanic Parkland is co-funded by the Western Downs Regional Council and the Queensland Government, with the Council delivering the project. Spanning 4.2 hectares between Canaga and Wambo Streets, the Parkland is a long-term vision, with total site development taking place over multiple stages in the next five to ten years. It boasts state-of-the-art water treatment and irrigation systems, with solar panels powering the entire site.

Landmark Products was instrumental in helping to create a new and exciting greenspace at the Parkland that was suitable for the whole community, regardless of age and ability. The Landmark-supplied restroom is a robust, low-maintenance steel construct that offers a range of roofing style options and a modern aesthetic that complements any park or urban space. Landmark restrooms offer numerous roof options, finishes, fixing and material options to ensure the structure complements the aesthetics and needs of the space.

In addition to this, four Longreach shelters and five Burleigh modified contemporary outdoor shelters were designed and supplied by Landmark for the project. Landmark Longreach shelters are eye-catching cantilevered hardwood shelters that can be customized with designer roofs in a choice of powdercoated colours. Burleigh shelters can be customized according to the site’s needs and, like all Landmark shelters, feature hot-dipped galvanized posts and frames, aluminium screens and Colorbond or Ultra grade roofing. The Burleigh can be powdercoated in in a range of colours and has a number of fixings, size and shape variations.

Landmark products are delivered flat-packed in kit form with building application drawings and installation instructions for ease of installation. Landmark Products offer two levels of limited structural warranty on its products:  the Landmark's 10-year warranty applies to structures supplied by the company and installed by others, while the Landmark 20-year warranty applies to structures supplied and installed by Landmark or a Landmark-approved installation company.
