Warema now offers freestanding operable louvre roofs. Winner of the German Design award 2019 in the category "Building and Elements," the Lamaxa louvre roof range offers a waterproof structure that shields from the rain, sun and wind with their customizable additions.
According to the jury, "The interesting design combines contemporary functionality and modern aesthetics, while the varied selection of colours and models offers a high degree of individuality."
The louvre roof covers up an area of up to 24 m² and can hold up to 230 kg/m of live load and up to 50 kg/m in snow weight. There are two types of louvre roofs in the Lamaxa range, the L60 and L70. Both structures have pivotable slats and an integrated drainage system inbuilt into one of the poles.
The differentiating factor is the slats on the L70 can retract and stack to one side, the stack height being 25% of the total length. Both models have additions to make it the most comprehensive sun shading system such as ZIP screens, radiant heater with radio remote control and integrated LED strips.
