Brisbane City Council recently approached Stoddart to design and fabricate a bespoke swing arbour, which would add an adult seating element to the Murarrie Reserve upgrade.
The result was a design using steel battens to form an undulating curved-roof arbour with two swing seats attached.
Stoddart worked with head landscape contractor Naturform to ensure that council’s concept was achieved. The result is a fun, functional and distinctive addition to the Vicki Wilson Playground area.
