Killcare residents Jarrod and Megan Rose have been there and done that. That is why for their latest home renovation, they opted for aluminium windows finished in the natural-looking DecoWood finish.
Jarrod was adamant that he would never again spend another weekend re-staining another timber window, and Megan insisted their new Aussie Coastal-inspired renovation needed the quintessential timber frames as specified by their architect. In stepped DecoWood.

“Timber just isn’t up to the job in this environment. And DecoWood is almost like second to none. It's durable even more than standard aluminum,” says homeowner Jarrod.
Megan chose DecoWood Curly Birch for the window frames and doors throughout her home, blending perfectly with the home’s interior timber floor and furnishing selections. Megan says she would recommend DecoWood to anyone and everyone.
“I know that it's going to be up to the game to withstand what this environment can throw at it. I was adamant that I wanted timber windows and Jared was adamant that he wasn't going to go through the maintenance of timber windows again. So this has been a really nice compromise.”
