The pivots come in two varieties, the Angle-Shoe and the Flat-Strap. The Angle-Shoe is a semi-concealed pivot set that is an easy-fix pivot ideal for robes and closets. The Flat-Strap is better suited if a fully concealed pivot is preferred. The pivot bodies are made from engineered Nylon 6 and are black in colour. They can be painted any colour with a suitable primer and epoxy spray cans. The rivets are copper alloy, and the lubricated washers are Delrin.

Construction details are very simple, and for doors in square set-plaster, there are substantial cost savings. Door frames, architraves and nib-studs can be eliminated, and painting is simplified. Crisp contemporary architectural details are an additional benefit. The pivots are durable arcitectural hardware items tested to 500,000 cycles on a 35 mm door of 35 kg without evidence of wear.
