Bildspec Series 100 operable walls have been installed at Diversified’s new North Sydney office fitout (undertaken by Sheldon Commercial Interiors). Series100 Rw49, side-stacking, moveable acoustic walls were installed between the kitchen and the main meeting area.

The kitchen is a large area that can accommodate a wide range of functions. The custom folding doors allow the space to expand if required, or allow it to be used concurrently with adjacent meeting rooms.

The wall is clad in Woven Image Echopanel, with additional vitreous enamel magnetic whiteboards installed to the meeting room side.

Bildspec’s operable movable walls are often utilized in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to allow clients greater flexibility with their office spaces through the creation of meeting rooms, board rooms, breakout rooms and multipurpose break-out spaces. These operable walls offer each application varying acoustic properties that are not only fit for purpose, but also highly attractive and user friendly.

One space can be altered for various applications – becoming a large open plan area, a series of meeting rooms, or a sectioned-off rest, eat or play area away from the busy working environment. The custom folding doors allow a limited transfer of sound from the external office into smaller individual spaces.

Customers can choose between glass, or solid materials – such as timber veneer, high pressure laminate, two-pack polyurethane, colour-back glass and fabric-face finishes – depending on the look, feel and acoustic environment you are trying to create in the office.
