Bildspec Operable Walls was recently selected by builder True Projects to install its Konnect double glazed operable walls at Data#3’s new office fit-out in North Sydney.
Used to separate adjacent boardrooms, as well as a parallel kitchen and breakout area, these operable acoustic walls serve as office partitions while providing visual connection between the spaces. These remote-stacking glass operable acoustic walls allow Data#3 greater flexibility – for increasing or reducing the size of boardrooms at will, or incorporating them as part of a larger breakout room or multipurpose break out space when required.
These operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound from space to space and recently achieved a 48 Rw acoustic rating when tested for their acoustic performance at CSIRO’s acoustic testing facilities in Clayton, Victoria.
