Located in the picturesque Sorrento, the client wanted sun shading options to cover their deck area. They were presented with two options for the space that they had; they chose the Warema Lamaxa louvre roof. Custom made to their specifications, the unit measures 4,875 mm long by 3,490 mm wide with integrated LED lighting in the horizontal beams and attached ZIP awnings.
The louvre roof features flat blade slats, which lock together when the roof is closed, providing full weather protection. The structure is paired with Warema’s WMS control systems that include a weather sensor programmed so the slats pivot automatically, matching the sensor’s reading, combined with a remote control with up to 50 channels enabling control of the slats, awnings and LED lights.
Beams are held in place with an already existing timber structure and stainless steel brackets. The rain gutters are lined with stainless steel mesh and all operating mechanisms are hidden within frames resulting in a clean and minimalistic design.
