The Schlage Remote 2.0 can adequately ventilate an area of 22.5 m2. Good ventilation is important for a healthy and comfortable indoor climate; proper ventilation helps to eliminate exhaled air, germs, allergens, dust, odours and micro-organisms. Moisture is also removed in the ventilation process, preventing unhealthy fungi and reducing the risk of dust mites.
In addition, the Schlage Remote 2.0 allows users to easily and securely open and close each window in the home with a single press on the supplied remote control. The same remote can be programmed to operate multiple windows in a house or commercial building. The window opener is powered by AA batteries (unit) and AAA batteries (remote control), so there is no need for wiring; however, users can connect the Schlage Remote 2.0 to the mains supply using an optional power adapter. The low-battery indicator warns users when the batteries are almost empty and ensures that windows always end up closed.
