Brio’s range of Weatherfold 4s hardware from Allegion is for top hung, exterior bi-folding doors made of timber or aluminium, with options to operate panels of 50 kg, 100 kg or 150 kg.
Weatherfold 4s installations can cover large openings of 3.3 metres high and 16 metres wide, with eight equally-sized panels folding seamlessly in each direction. High-precision bearings and stainless steel components ensure the panels roll smoothly for the length of their lifespan. The hardware is available in three premium finishes: stainless (SS), polished stainless (PS) and PVD brass (PB).
Brio’s Weatherfold 5c hardware is a bottom-rolling system for 80 kg panels that eliminates the need for a reinforced structural beam above the opening, as all the panel weight is carried by the bottom rollers. This function is particularly favoured by architects, as the absence of the restricting top beam means that there is more room for design creativity.
