Gainsborough Hardware has released a new collection of door levers and accessories. Designed for everyday living and with the user in mind, the new Gainsborough Avant™ collection of stylish door levers and accessories delivers premium finishes, and unparalleled quality and usability.
The three thoughtfully designed lever styles that form the collection – Alba, Rivera and Sierra – feature contemporary design elements and a variety of approaches to ergonomics. The comfort of use was essential during the conception of the range, as the aim was to offer hardware suitable for different grip styles and hand sizes.
The elegant slimline profile of the Alba is softened by rounded edges and an indentation at the base of the lever. With its ergonomic finger "cut-out," Rivera offers superior comfort to the user, whilst exuding sophistication and design confidence. Finally, the modern, front profile taper of the Sierra lever features a wide top surface that best reflects the finish.
Avant is available in five on-trend finishes, ensuring the range suits a plethora of interior design styles. Customers can select from satin brass, brushed or bright chrome, as well as darker finishes such as satin graphite and matt black. The highlight of the range is the newly released satin brass finish. Mitch Cruz, Gainsborough product manager, said, “It’s a lovely, bold yet incredibly versatile finish. With its subtly textured appearance, satin brass gives the perfect amount of understated style. The brushed coating is as beautiful as it is practical; it won’t show marks and therefore is suitable for high traffic doorways. Made from solid zinc, Gainsborough’s new door hardware range features award-winning (Good Design Award 2019) QuickFix™ technology. The patented mechanism simplifies and speeds up the process of positioning, twisting and securing the lever onto the door.
Alba, Rivera and Sierra are available in three functions: passage, privacy and non-turning dummy trims, which are best suited to linen cupboards and wardrobes. The collection is accompanied by a range of accessories, including contemporary flush pulls and door stops.
