The RS7 ClearVision security roller shutter is suitable to secure most commercial, retail and hospitality applications, as well as certain industrial applications. It is typically used to secure shopfronts, countertops, serveries and bar tops, food service areas, entrances, doorways, banks, shopping centres and arcades, clubs, reception areas and medical centres.
The shutters provide strength, transparency, flow of light and visual access. They can span any opening size, up to a maximum of 5500 mm wide in a single section if motorized, or up to 3400 mm wide if manually operated (limited to a maximum of 10 m²). Unlimited spans are achievable by using fixed or removeable mullions.
Manual operation is through counterbalanced helical springs, whilst electric operation is through 240 V electric actuators, with either key switch or push button activation. Remoter control facility options can be used and battery back-up options are available.
The shutter curtain is constructed from clear polycarbonate horizontal slats 100 mm tall with 87 mm view coverage, which interlock with extruded aluminium joining slats, forming a continuous hinge. Locking is achieved via a two-way mortice key lock mounted in the centre of the bottom or mid-rail.
Both bracket and pelmet box installation options are available. All aluminium components are either available in a clear anodized or powdercoated finish from the Dulux Powder Coatings colour range.
