Gyprock solutions for high-impact risk areas
- CSR Gyprock
Gyprock Impact Damage Resistant Wall Systems provide a higher degree of ‘soft body impact resistance’, that is, resistance to the bumps and knocks which occur in high traffic public buildings daily.
Gyprock Impactchek is a purpose designed fibreglass bonded, mesh reinforced plasterboard that exceeds the requirements of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for soft body impact resistance. The inherent impact resistance of Impactchek makes it ideal for areas of high pedestrian traffic in all building types, and it should be used wherever there is a risk of impact damage. These risk areas include corridors, foyers and stair shafts in commercial buildings, shopping centres, cinemas, offices, stadiums, schools, hospitals and nursing homes.
Impactchek is also a fire and acoustic grade board and can be used in high impact areas where acoustic separation or a fire rated systems is specified.
