Induction loop systems – AUDIOropa
AUDIOropa induction loop systems allow hearing-aid wearers to pick-up signals emitted by audio sources without the use of specialist receivers.
AUDIOropa produces a range of induction loop systems, from a small portable system suitable for a retail counter-top, to larger systems suitable for public buildings such as theatres and educational institutions. The induction loop systems represent the major segment of assistive listening devices, with approximately 90% of all installation today being induction loops. This form of assistive listening system is specific to those with mild to severe hearing loss and people who are using a hearing aid.
- Does not require a specialised receiver, signal is picked up directly by the hearing aid
- The listening area and audio characteristics can be controlled by loop design
- Sound is sent directly to the hearing aid via the telecoil, improving the signal to noise ratio
- Physical obstacles within the pick-up area do not influence reception
