Opened in August 2013 is the stunning new $13M airport terminal at Port Lincoln that features Concrete Collaborative's Laguna polished concrete tile and welcomes some 4000 visitors to the region weekly.

GHD Architects were commissioned by the District Council of the Lower Eyre Peninsula to deliver the architecture, interior architecture, building services and structural engineering services for the upgrade. They also provided design and documentation services for the facility and assistance during the construction phase.

The internal floor provides a spectacular, unique and natural vista, a far cry from the bland expanses of some of our major Australian capital city terminals. The ivory colour complimented by earthy wood tones reflect the character of the Eyre Peninsula. Hard wearing and attractive concrete terrazzo is used outdoors. With the curved roof line the designers seem to have truly captured the spirit of Port Lincoln's nautical history.
