Architecture+ used Kaynemaile's mesh to create striking translucent balustrades in the retrofit of a Wellington office building.

The innovative and cost-effective solution for preventing falling without blocking natural light in the stairwell space of an office retrofit in Wellington, New Zealand.

Kaynemaile’s Water Clear mesh was installed as single floor-to-ceiling sheets spanning three floors, giving a translucent effect and removing the need for extra balustrade steel fixings and handrails. The balustrades highlight rather than block the natural light of the stairwell, while also providing the required safety features
