Kitchen waste and recycling management
Immediate disposal of waste as it is created through the wastemate kitchen chute system.

We produce an abundance of waste each day, and in the internal environment of where we live and work, we are continually exposed to bacteria, bad odours, and double handling of waste, which is energy inefficient and unhealthy.

In line with Council's implementation of multi-use wheelie bins for recycling, Anthony Axisa has invented the Waste Mate Kitchen Chute and Recycling System, and created a far more efficient solution for the disposal of waste. As waste is being created it can now be placed and sorted, in a single action, directly into the appropriate wheelie bin.

The placement of the wheelie bin requires consideration at working drawing stage. The wheelie bins can be placed on an exterior wall (close to the kitchen); or can be placed under the house in a garage or storage area (beneath the kitchen).

The Waste Mate kitchen chute and recycling system is efficient and considers OH&S issues, such as: ergonomics, by reducing bending and stretching; reduces fatigue by not having to carry waste to the wheelie bins; cleans up internal air by eliminating odour and bacteria; minimises the handling of waste; frees up valuable floor and cabinet space; and consideration is given to those with disabilities.
