Cemintel launches four new products
Cemintel launches four new products, redefining scope and application of lightweight building materials.

Next generation of lightweight building materials introduces new robust technology and even smarter installation systems.

Cemintel has introduced four new solutions to their comprehensive product range, with unique textures and finishes, enhanced installation options and next generation robust technology as key features in the new line-up.

The products include two new creative external cladding panel systems (SimpleLine™ Cladding and Creative Facade Panels), a new exterior and interior cladding option (Designer Series™ Jagged Ash), as well as a unique fibre cement solution for interior walls (BareStone™ Interior).

“Our new products build on the striking design styles and easy installation processes that customers and builders have come to love. They now offer even more features, such as stain resistant technology, and enhanced weather protection to improve everyday product performance,” explains Cemintel Marketing Manager, Ben Thompson.

With applications in both commercial and residential designs, Cemintel’s new products will help builders, architects, contractors and designers meet the diverse demands of client needs.

Residential application

The number of products has expanded in the Designer Series range, with the addition of Jagged Ash, a natural looking pre-finished panel.

This new product provides a raw authentic look that facilitates the industrial intention trend that is increasingly visible in both residential and commercial projects.

Mr Thompson says the combined offering of on-trend aesthetics coupled with the Designer Series extensive product choice has cemented the popularity of the range within the design community.

For homeowners looking to achieve a classic monolithic look, Cemintel has introduced SimpleLine external cladding to their range.

An efficient and cost-effective solution to render, SimpleLine cladding features a shiplap joint which creates a subtle, shadowline effect, resulting in a sleek finish.

“While the rendered look is a popular aesthetic, it is time consuming and costly to achieve as it requires a skilled plasterer. Easy to install, SimpleLine cladding sheets can be gun-nailed and come pre-sealed making the panel easy to coat with a standard or textured paint, for a much simpler way to achieve a rendered look,” says Mr Thompson.

Commercial application

To provide builders with more design options, Cemintel’s popular cladding solution, BareStone has been optimised for internal applications through the development of four new installation methods.

“To help facilitate venues that undergo regular design changes, such as retail and office spaces, the new BareStone Interior panels feature simple components and construction techniques to ensure both quick assembly and removal,” says Mr Thompson.

To cater for the unique demands of internal environments, Cemintel have developed their CeminSeal technology to provide stain resistance for the new BareStone Interior panel. This allows the pre-finished panel to maintain its natural, raw cement appearance while reducing the degree of absorption of stains or contaminants.

Cemintel’s newly introduced Creative Facade Panels are available in three textures in a wide range of colours and feature a ‘colour through’ technology which creates a consistent colour right through the material. The panels also boast a premium protective coating that eliminates the requirement for painting or finishing on site.

Creative Facade Panels are manufactured with pure acrylic binders to reduce weathering. In addition, a coating that incorporates UV resistant pigments to minimise sun damage is applied to the panels.

“Customers are looking for a more natural and robust finish to aluminum composite panels and our new Creative Facade panels offer exactly that. The UV protection ensures the panels enjoy a longer life span. The product is also manufactured from air cured fibre cement to provide a durable finish suitable for applications which require a non-combustible solution, offering further peace of mind to designer and homeowner,” adds Mr Thompson.

The growing demand to quickly achieve the latest design trends has led to an increased reliance on lightweight building materials to provide creative choices that produce impressive results.

“We are committed to driving industry innovation and producing enhanced product solutions that meet both the functional and aesthetic demands of modern building design,” adds Mr Thompson.
“We’re really excited to see the reaction from the design community towards the new line of products and look forward to seeing the results in homes and businesses across Australia,” concludes Mr Thompson.

We are the fibre cement and lightweight composite solution specialists. Cemintel is focused on a fresh, intuitive approach to lightweight façades, building solutions and feature walls. Our passion is to help Australians build better.
