Urbis Designday a great success
Urbis Designday, an exclusive tour of Auckland’s leading design showrooms, was "the best ever", according to happy participants.
Hundreds of designers and design lovers turned out on Saturday 20 March from 10 am to 5 pm to see Auckland's finest design showrooms and their associated installations and displays, created in collaboration with design stars from the worlds of fashion, art and architecture.
Participating showrooms were Design Denmark, Hafele, Poggenpohl, Matisse, Inovo, Kohler, Essenze, Cavit & Co, Studio Italia, and Cite. Other participating organisations included Audi, Auckland City Council, HP, Dulux and AUT.
