Alex Perry rug collection

Trips to Greece, memories of holidays past, architecture and books are the inspiration behind Australian couturier Alex Perry’s first rug collection for Designer Rugs.

The internationally renowned Alex Perry celebrates glamour, softness and colour in this newly launched collection.

The collection with Designer Rugs comprises eight inspiring designs featuring a mix of traditional and structured patterns to fluid and contemporary motifs.

Hand-made from 100% New Zealand Wool, selected designs feature highlights of Viscose and Pure Silk.

‘ANTHI’ featured here was inspired by a recent ready-to-wear collection Alex released and features black and white zebra-like stripes with a floral motif in viscose.

Other designs include ‘RHODES’, inspired by a patterned piazza Alex saw in the Dodecanese Island of Rhodes. Colourful ‘BIBLO’ was inspired by an Art-Nouveau vase and ‘PSARAKI’, a creative design featuring fish with silk scales and deep blue tones.

All designs can be custom coloured and sized to suit individual requirements and are suitable for residential and commercial applications.
