Lumber stool, Best Design Awards 2010 Bronze Winner for Furniture Design
Designed by Jamie McLellan for Fletcher Systems, the Lumber stool is inspired by the construction of traditional log cabins.
The stool's frame bare structure obtains strength through notching, thereby creating three-way interlocking knuckle-joints. These knuckle-joints are constructed in ash dowels.
The Lumber stool was a Designer Institute Best Design Awards 2010 Bronze Winner for Furniture Design.
