Autoclaved aerated concrete

Supplier:
CSR Hebel

CSR Hebel’s range of high performance autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks and panels is now available with full technical support directly from the manufacturer and backed by CSR, one of Australiasia’s leading building materials companies. Hebel’s PowerPanelXL has been specifically developed to speed up construction. The panels, which are 20 per cent lighter, are easier and safer to handle and are combined with a new patented perforated top hat and easier-to-fix screws for fast installation. Used in New Zealand homes for around 20 years, Hebel products offer unique thermal benefits.

A 75mm thick Hebel PowerPanelXL panel has up to three times the R-Value of a traditional 110mm house brick. The unique combination of thermal resistance and thermal mass provides an incredibly comfortable and efficient living environment. Hebel systems meet and exceed the New Zealand Building Code minimum energy requirements, and Hebel PowerPanelXL remains a low embodied energy masonry material. The Hebel range of products for residential and commercial buildings includes the Hebel PowerPanel 50, a 50mm steel reinforced exterior and interior wall panel, the Hebel PowerPanelXL, a 75mm steel reinforced panel as light as a 50mm wall panel with higher acoustic, fire and thermal performance, and the Hebel PowerFloor, high performance, 75mm steel reinforced flooring panels with the solid feel of concrete.
