AllSeasons™ aluminium joinery suite

AllSeasons™ is a residential aluminium joinery range that has a thermal break built into the design. In essence, the thermal break reduces the thermal transference of cold or heat through the frame. This in turn reduces the energy required to heat or cool a home.

In cool climates/winter the product has the advantage of reducing cold transferring through from the outside to the inside, making the home thermally efficient, reducing internal condensation on joinery.

In warm climates/summer the product has the advantage of reducing heat transferring through from the outside to the inside, making the home thermally efficient and easier to cool.

That’s because AllSeasons™ is manufactured with NALCO’s patented connection systems – designed to provide a more secure, more weathertight frame. Features unique to NALCO’s system include, joints that are stronger and tighter, which prevents water entering the joinery. Controlled drainage paths also direct water away from your home. Our patented connection system doesn’t require us to drill holes in frames which maintains the integrity of the joinery.

The key objectives of the design were to:

• Design a residential product that significantly improves the thermal insulation values of the joinery, reduces internal condensation on the joinery and contribute to a healthier home.

• To provide an affordable suite which in turn still meets many of the large size sliding, stacking and Bi-fold door requirements of today’s market.

Key Features:

The thermal break is created using the pour and debridge manufacturing method. This method involves the filling of a channel designed into the extrusion with a resin, then the milling out of the back of the channel to create a break in the aluminium.

This method has a number of advantages over the polyamide method (which sees 2 extrusions joined together using a polyamide strip which is crimped to each of the frames, this is the alternative system offered in New Zealand):
