Hirepool gives Christchurch Airport Lounge lift off
Work on the new multi-million dollar Air New Zealand Regional Lounge at Christchurch Airport is quickly reaching new heights thanks to Hirepool’s comprehensive range of hire equipment.
Hirepool Limited, New Zealand’s premier rental solutions provider, is providing scaffolding, access gear, a port-a-loo and small plant hire, to ensure the facility is up and running by January 2011.
Christchurch Hirepool Business Relationship Manager David Bainbridge says he is delighted Mainzeal, the principal contractor of the year-long $15m project, has chosen Hirepool to supply the 2,300sqm site. “Mainzeal is running to a very tight schedule for this job and with up to 20 carpenters on site and a large number of sub-trades, they can’t have any delays,” he says. “We understand the constraints of a project of this size, with tight build and cost budgets, so we ensure the right equipment is readily available to get the job done.”
Mainzeal site manager Mark Emberton is thrilled with the capability and service provided by Hirepool. “We’re always impressed with the excellent service and good reliable gear Hirepool provide,” he says.
Meanwhile Hirepool has another significant project underway with Mainzeal in Canterbury, supplying port-a-loos, small plant and 120m of water filled barriers to the Christchurch Women’s Hospital upgrade, planned for completion in July 2010.
