When it comes to future trends, the one thing I am certain of is that there won´t be one single trend that everybody will follow. Our lifestyles are changing and so is the bathroom. In an increasingly fast-paced, more mobile and virtual world the bathroom is gradually turning into a living space, where we experience nature by interacting with water in a sensuous way.

Furthermore, the bathroom is becoming more versatile, and more personal. So, if we must talk about “trends” in the bathroom, I see two strong trends: the desire for experiencing nature and for creating more and more personal bathrooms. And this is precisely the theme we chose for our stand at the Milan Furniture Fair: the various possibilities opened up by our Axor concepts and collections to create personal perfect solutions for interacting with water. Anyone requiring an even greater degree of product personalization from our already extensive and diverse Axor range, is welcome to get in touch with our Axor Manufaktur team. They adapt our mixers to specific requirements or fashion them in accordance with your own creative ideas, by applying surface finishes in different colours, not just black or white.

I am also convinced we should become much more aware of quality in every aspect of our lives and develop a more comprehensive sense of the value of certain products. This refers to the bathroom in a very special way: if you consider that basin mixers in the home are touched around 40 to 50 times a day: it´s worthwhile choosing quality products to make this not only a pleasant functional but also a rich sensual experience
