Business as normal after devastating fire at Interface Australia

As you may be aware, the Interface manufacturing plant in Australia was destroyed by fire on Friday night. Fortunately no one was hurt and Interface is currently working with employees & staff to manage this stressful situation.

Further good news, is that all finished goods stored in Australia & New Zealand equating to over 500,000m2 was not affected.

Interface, as you know is a successful global company with production facilities all over the world. One lesson learned since they committed to becoming a truly sustainable enterprise is that you never place all of your eggs in one basket. Interface is now working with INZIDE Commercial to redeploy its global capabilities to minimize the effect on the supply chain to New Zealand. Obviously, over the short term, made to order product may be effected by a 2-4 weeks delay. INZIDE'S stocking program known as "NOW" (encompassing 80,000m2) remains unaffected.

Interface has been servicing its customers here in New Zealand for 40 years and this commitment continues with the same vigor. As a valued customer, we look forward to your support at this difficult time & we are very grateful to those who have reached out to us since the fire with messages of support. Be assured that we will continue to provide the best possible service to our customers here in New Zealand.

If we can assist in any way please don't hesitate to call us.
