Auckland custom electronics experts win 3 international awards
Auckland-based custom electronics experts, Liquid Automation, have won all three categories they entered at their industry’s annual awards.
CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design Installation Association) recently unveiled the winners of its highly-coveted Electronic Lifestyles® Awards which recognise outstanding installations of custom electronics in residential and commercial environments throughout Asia Pacific. This year was one of the most competitive with 77 projects entered for 15 categories from New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan and Taiwan.
Liquid Automation, which specialises in design and installation of marine, residential and commercial electronic systems, won all three categories it entered - Best Commercial Project (for the fit-out of Sky City’s new VIP accommodation and gaming areas for the Rugby World Cup), Best Project Design & Documentation and Best Marine Project (both for the electronics and lighting on 67m-long superyacht Vertigo).
The company’s Integrated Systems Designer, Sam Ashton, said: “These awards are the result of an outstanding effort from the Liquid Automation team. We always aim to set the benchmark in whatever we undertake and are extremely proud to have received this recognition on an international level.”
CEDIA Asia Pacific’s Executive Director Stephen Miller said: “The standard of this year’s entries was extraordinary. The competition was more intense than ever and the Liquid Automation projects were up against some other remarkable projects.”
