Viva Sunscreens at Macquarie Park
Glare and thermal heat gain in this building in Macquarie Park, New South Wales, are controlled using Viva Sunscreens. Taking into account the architect’s ESD objectives, Viva Sunscreens commissioned 200 motorized Screentex external blind systems to the west and east facades of the building. The system controls UV rays entering the building – ensuring airconditioning and heating requirements are minimized and guaranteeing a significant reduction in overall carbon dioxide emissions.
