Sunpipes natural daylighting
The Egyptians first used Sunpipes 4,000 years ago to bring daylight deep into the centre of the pyramids.
UK-based ventilation and daylighting specialist Monodraught has provided Sunpipes for over 20,000 installations in domestic and commercial buildings worldwide. Monodraught Sunpipes are available in sizes up to 1.5 metres in diameter. Maximized SHGC and U-values are achieved while a unique self-cleaning dome and silver-based internal light pipe ensure maximum daylight is projected up to twenty metres into the building.
These practical low-carbon and low-energy units are now available in Australia from Vim Sustainability.
