Vertilux and sustainability
In November 2008 Vertilux Corporation removed PVC-based fabrics from its branded fabric ranges and continues to work hard to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Vertilux currently offers 11 exclusively engineered fabrics for use in roller blinds, panel glides and roman blinds. Fabrics are made from either Verotex Trevira CS or Polyester. These ranges are all tested and assessed by Ecospecifier. Vertilux is a member of the Green Building Council of Australia.
Vertilux Corporation, seeing the need to formalize its sustainability practices and brand strategy, has appointed the green communications firm Republic of Everyone to help them communicate this information to market.
