Vapotec is a remarkably simple but ingenious device designed to automatically turn your bathroom and shower exhaust fan on when it senses the presence of steam. When all steam is cleared from the room, Vapotec automatically turns your fan off. The sensor is the only visible part of the unit. Vapotec won episode 10 of ABC TV's program *The New Inventors* in 2005.
