The Seatery at new bank headquarters
The Seatery’s latest creations are semicircular banquette seats in Italian leather, which are both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Shopfitter Jacaranda Industries, working with architect Hassell, commissioned custom-upholstery specialist the Seatery to provide seating to complement this innovative building for a leading bank, set in Melbourne’s Docklands area.
The full aniline leather in a bright caramel is highlighted with detail stitching. The unforgiving characteristics of the hide and the circular shape posed a challenge, but the experience and skill of the Seatery team resulted in a striking finish.
