Skype calls Bolon...
When the prestigious architect firm Ps Arkitektur designed the 2,700 m² new HQ for Skype in Stockholm, Sweden, they chose Bolon’s collections Botanic & Spektra.
The Architect Mette Larsson Wedborn explains: “I try to find those materials from where a standard product I can create something unique and specific for the space. For this project, one of the conceptual ideas was to visualize a network of interconnected nodes (in the same way that Skype connects people all over the world). For the flooring we chose to interpret this network to triangular colourfields.”
