BOLON awarded level A environmental certificate

BOLON is delighted to announce that they have achieved environmental certification in Australia and New Zealand under the prestigious ECOSPECIFIER GLOBAL accreditation programme, GreenTAG.

After a rigorous assessment process, 6 BOLON collections, including the 2011 new release, Artisan, have achieved a level A rating under this scheme – the highest classification possible under this label.

BOLON, and our suppliers, were assessed in key areas such as corporate social responsibility; environmentally appropriate product composition; VOC emissions; durability, and end of life recycling – and satisfied all criteria! This is welcomed as an acknowledgement of BOLON’s commitment to developing environmentally sound products in line with the BOLONGreen philosophy.

The GreenTAG level A certificate also means that the product is accepted by the peak environmental body in Australia, the GBCA (Green Building Council of Australia) as suitable for use in Green Star rated projects. This makes it easier for BOLON to be used in many applications, particularly in government buildings.
