XL wall system

The XL Wall System is a prefabricated permanent formwork system for walls made up of prefabricated panels, consisting of fibre cement, aluminium and plastic. Suitable for use in multi-storey residential and commercial buildings as load-bearing/structural walls up to 25 storeys or higher in non load-bearing capacities. Suitable for use in the construction of lift shafts, structural walls, parti walls and stair wells. The XL Wall System has been used successfully throughout Australia in residential and commercial buildings including mixed-use multi-residential, hotels and aged care facilities.

Ritek XL Wall System is made up of prefabricated panels used to provide permanent formwork for in situ reinforced concrete walls. Walling panels consist of 6-mm fibrecement, recessed-edge facing sheets bonded to vertical studs. The studs are made up from aluminium sections connected together with plastic spacer pieces. All aluminium components are protected with a chromate coating. The panels are stood in place, both vertical and horizontal reinforcement is placed as required and the wall completed by filling the panels with structural concrete. Provide finished internal and/or external surfaces with a minimum of filling, taping or setting.
