Rheem commercial heat pump
Rheem has a new commercial heat pump suited to medium to large users of hot water, such as hotels, nursing homes and hospitals.
The system features one or more stand-alone condenser units with manifolded banks of storage tanks. It includes some impressive innovations, such as design modularity, an auxiliary heating mode and consistent performance.
The Rheem commercial heat pump is eligible to generate Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) by offsetting the CO2 used in conventional electric water heaters. A significant number of RECs can be created, which offsets the initial capital cost and makes the system financially attractive.
