Commercial heat pump
Rheem’s commercial heat pump is suitable for medium to large users of hot water, such as apartments, hotels, nursing homes and hospitals.
The system features one or more stand-alone condenser units with manifolded banks of storage tanks and offers many design innovations, such as modularity, automatic defrost mode and a high performance co-efficient.
The Rheem commercial heat pump can generate renewable energy certificates (RECs) by offsetting the carbon dioxide used in conventional electric water heaters. A significant number of RECs can be created, which offsets the initial capital cost and makes the system financially attractive.
