Bholu wallpaper collection for Porter's Paints
Bholu director and designer Jodie Fried is collaborating with Porter’s Paints on a vibrant new range of wallpaper designs. The Bholu collection will join Catherine Martin and Bowie in Porter's Paints' wallpaper design series “ Designers for Porter’s Paints."
The Bholu Collection of wallpapers is inspired by the drawings of children in underprivileged communities in India. The range embraces the textural qualities of the traditionally hand-embroidered textiles for which Bholu is known.
Designer Jodie Fried has made sure that it is exactly these qualities, along with the vibrancy of the felt colours and the subtle, earthy linen tones, that are echoed through into the wallpaper.
Bholu designs have been beautifully captured in a children’s range, the Menagerie Collection. The designs include Mavis the Monkey, Frederick the Elephant and Marjorie the Duck, and are available in both beautiful neutral linen tones and the classic vibrant Bholu colours of orange, red, and olive.
The more sophisticated, linear design Ziddi brings a beautiful, organic depth to any interior, while Nimboo is perfect for any commercial space.
The Bholu wallpaper collection will be available from February 2010.
