Building facades that add glamour and protection
Locker Group products are often used in facade applications to visually differentiate the exterior of a building. Generally installed within close proximity to the building’s wall or roof, the mesh can also be installed at distance, to provide a sunlit walkway around the perimeter. Facade systems are frequently combined with custom lighting for dramatic effect. Locker Group materials are not confined to facades; they are also used for sunscreens, balustrades as well as interior applications.
The facade is the face of a building, often demonstrating the use and value of the structure. This building facade (Tabcorp Park, Melton) marks the transition between outside and inside. The facade gives a scale to the entire space around it, and provides sunscreen properties to improve privacy without blocking light. Tabcorp chose a custom designed pattern to give the facade a truly unique appearance.
