Insulated roof panel systems

Kingspan’s range of insulated roof panels are pre-engineered, single-fix ‘sandwich’ panel systems. The three-in-one panels comprise a high-performance external steel facade, bonded to a rigid firesafe polyisocyanurate (PIR) FM-approved core with a pre-finished, light reflective internal liner.

The joint detail provides absolute weather tightness supported by the application of a factory applied weather seal. The PIR insulation core offers an R-value rating of 7.2 – up to double the thermal performance of conventional insulations (insulation batts and polystyrene). The system guarantees section J compliance without added components or reliance on installation. The design of the Kingspan panel system allows for increased spanning capabilities compared to traditional alternatives with the capability to reduce the purlin requirement by half, thereby reducing building costs required for materials as well as that required for labour. Beyond construction, the systems also have lower operational costs because of a higher performing building envelope.
