Schlage magnetic door catch

The Schlage magnetic door catch is suitable for full-sized doors, including wardrobes, cupboards and internal doors. It can be used anywhere a roller catch or similar would normally be fitted.

The catch is quick and easy to fit with a 22 mm diameter drill bit. As the magnets don’t touch after installation, the catch will never wear out – the magnet has a life of approximately four million years. It can be painted over and there is no latch noise when opening the door, unlike a roller catch.

In addition, Schlage’s magnetic door catch can be completely concealed in the floor or ceiling for use on pivot doors. The catch is completely concealed when the door is closed, so there is no need for the unsightly protruding strike-place lip needed for a roller catch.
