Plexiglas specialty acrylics

Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) has added Plexiglas – one of the world’s most versatile plastics – to its extensive range of decorative building products, securing distribution rights for the brand in Australia.

German manufacturer Evonik Industries has appointed HVG’s Building Products division as the national distributor of Plexiglas specialty acrylics including Plexiglas Satinice, from March 2010.

Plexiglas can be manufactured with many different functional properties and surfaces, offering high light transmission, light diffusion, sight screening, heat reflection, heat insulation and sound reflection.

Much more impact resistant than glass yet lighter in weight, the transparent plastic is ideal for a diverse range of indoor and outdoor applications, including interior design, lighting design, POP displays, signage and shopfitting.
