Green Energy Bricks
The brick’s formulation consists of a central core of rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam with an external and internal skin of 8 mm magnesium oxide board. This makes it lightweight yet load bearing, with an attractive finish and an R8+ insulation rating. The jury praised the Green Energy brick’s clever design, simple construction method and fire resistance, which make it suitable for both professional and DIY markets.
